Multimedia Portfolio

2019 – 2025

Here you can find quite a mix of the projects I have worked on—created through my business Verge Digital, in-house work from agencies, e-commerce & marketing roles, from small business websites to e-commerce platforms, social media campaigns, print collateral, and everything in between.

Who is She?

Hi – I’m Kelsey! ✌

I’m a multidisciplinary designer based in Hamilton, NZ, with a love for clean design, clever content, and making things actually work. My background spans web design, branding, UX, digital marketing, photography, and content creation—basically, everything from pixels to strategy.

I’ve worked with startups, agencies, and retail teams to build brands that not only look sharp but perform well too. No time-wasting, no overthinking—just smart, purposeful design that gets results, whether it’s refining a customer journey or launching a product.

Armed with a Visual Communication degree and a curious brain, I bring a blend of creativity, strategy, and just the right amount of chaos to every project.

E-Commerce, Brand Management & Marketing

International Foods – Hamilton, NZ

I joined International Foods NZ to help tidy up their online presence — and ended up transforming the entire customer experience. I rebuilt key areas of their Shopify site for better navigation, product clarity, and mobile usability. My UX changes contributed to a 39% lift in sales during my time there.

Beyond the website, I managed digital marketing, content creation, and all ecommerce operations — from uploading products and writing descriptions to designing campaigns, resolving customer issues, and physically fulfilling online orders myself. I also supported the retail side of the business, helping streamline systems and improve merchandising.

In short, I was a one-woman ecommerce department. I learned a ton, proved my impact, and left with a full toolkit of lessons in digital retail, logistics, and staying cool under pressure.

Digital & Horticultural Designer

Calla Plantscapes – landscape design studio based in Te Kowhai, nz

At Calla Plantscapes, I work at the intersection of design and nature. My role blends digital strategy, brand storytelling, and hands-on plantscaping.

I’m involved in everything from crafting the Calla website and social media content, to installing and maintaining interior plant displays across boutique commercial and residential spaces in the Waikato Region.

Website Design & Development

Mata Digital – Design & Marketing Agency, Hamilton

As a Digital Designer at Mata Digital, I focused on WordPress and Shopify site builds, brand collateral and digital content—working with a wide range of clients on projects varying in scope and scale.

My work included responsive design, custom content types, client training, product management, and digital marketing integrations. Below are highlights from some of the clients and projects I’ve been most proud to be a part of.

Graphic Design & Print Production

Pronto Print & Design – Parnell, Auckland

At Pronto Print & Design, I worked as both a Graphic Designer and Print Operator in a fast-paced, high-end print studio based in Auckland Central. Projects varied in scope—some were quick one-day turnarounds, while others involved full creative development, print setup, and finishing.

I worked closely with clients across fashion, jewellery, hospitality, and fine art to bring their branding and collateral to life. This involved everything from packaging design and postcards to vinyl decals and event materials, ensuring every piece met brand standards and print specs. I also handled pre-press file setup, large format printing, and hands-on finishing.

Below are highlights from some of the clients and projects I’ve been most proud to be a part of.

In-house Design & Production

Lodge Real Estate – Hamilton, NZ

At Lodge Real Estate, I worked as an in-house Graphic Designer, Advertising Coordinator and Marketing Specialist, supporting over 90 agents across corporate and personal branding. My role covered everything from property marketing and agent collateral to social media campaigns and print production. I was involved in fast-paced, high-volume output and maintained brand consistency across all media, platforms, and locations.

Design Projects at Wintec

Where it all started.

Waikato Institute of Technology – Hamilton, nz

These projects were created during my time studying Visual Communication Design at Wintec. From branding community festivals to prototyping mobile apps, this body of work gave me hands-on experience across UX, UI, print, and digital design.

Each brief challenged me to think critically, communicate visually, and solve real-world design problems—from concept to execution. This is where I learned to combine strategy with creativity—and where I discovered I really, really like making things look good, and work well.
